Framex’s expertise lies in agricultural machinery exports. One of our main partners is Akron, shipping containers to Columbus, Nebraska in the United States.
This Akron machinery export agreement operates from Argentina to the United States, with Framex handling logistics in containers specially adapted to the extractor models.
Since 2019, Framex has been the designated logistics company for this type of Akron machinery import to the United States, with consistent shipments throughout the year.
Akron manufactures its products in the Cordoban city of San Francisco and exports them to Ohio, one of the U.S. territories that imports high-quality products for the North American agricultural market.
In this operation, the process begins in Córdoba when containers are loaded at the San Francisco plant, clearing customs on-site. From the Port of Buenos Aires, maritime transit takes 30 days to reach New York, with final delivery to Columbus via ground freight.
Specifically, these shipments contain the AKRON EXG380X Grain Extractor model. This equipment facilitates the extraction of grain stored in silo bags for loading onto trucks or self-unloading hoppers, depending on the logistics or destination each user determines for their merchandise. This extractor model combines efficiency with robustness, making it one of Akron’s most in-demand pieces of equipment among producers, contractors, and grain elevators worldwide, further supported by its high operating speed that enables loading a truck in less than 10 minutes.
Space optimization in international shipments is a crucial aspect to consider when exporting any product. A team from our Research and Development (R&D) department designs packaging that maximizes space utilization within containers. Moreover, it is absolutely essential to ensure all components arrive at their destination in perfect condition, ready for machine assembly and delivery to future owners in optimal condition.
